| The inaugural ICC Twenty20
World Championships are scheduled to
take place in South Africa in September
2007. Three venues have been chosen
to stage the event; Sahara Stadium Durban,
Wanderers Stadium Johannesburg and Newland's,
Cape Town. The inaugural event will
involve 12 teams each playing between
3 and 5 matches. |

Combining three of the most
popular destinations in South Africa, the
Twenty20 World Championships will provide
an exciting opportunity to view this spectacular
country. No visit to South Africa is complete
without a visit to Cape Town, with the formidable
back drop of Table Mountain. There will be
optional extensions to travel along the Garden
Route, view the "Big Five" or head to the
beautiful island of Mauritius. Whatever the
outcome of the Championships, prepare for
some fast high scoring action on the field!

Sporting
Highlights hope to be appointed by the
ICC as an Official Travel Agent for
this event.
Sporting Highlights plans to operate
two tours for this event, one covering
all stages of the Championships, and
an option covering the Super 8's and
finals with the opportunity to extend
along the Garden Route. Extended stay
options will include Pilanesburg Game
Reserve with Sun City, Victoria Falls
and Mauritius. |
The full schedule for the tournament has now
been released. The tournament will run along
the same lines as the World Cup with 4 pools
