Climate:
It is warm and sunny all year round with an average daytime high of 24 - 29 degrees. The nights are usually slightly cooler. The rain usually comes in quick showers. The dry season lasts from January to June.
 
Currency & Exchange rate:
Most of the hotels, restaurants and commercial establishments will accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard & American Express are all widely accepted). Travellers cheques in U.S. and UK funds are also cashable at many outlets.

Barbados - The Barbados dollar is converted at the rate of $1.98 BDS to $1.00 U.S and is fixed to the US dollar.

Antigua - Official currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar which is fixed to the US dollar. Recent exchange rate was US$1.00 = EC$2.65. US currency, travellers checks and major credit cards are welcome everywhere.

St Lucia - The currency of St. Lucia is the Eastern Caribbean dollar which is linked to the US Dollar at the exchange rate of 1 US$ to 2.70 EC$. US$ are widely accepted on the island.

Jamaica - The unit of currency in Jamaica is the Jamaican dollar. One U.S. dollar equals approximately 48.5 Jamaican dollars.

Trinidad & Tobago - The unit of currency is the Trinidad and Tobago, or TT, dollar. It floats against the US dollar at an average of TT$6.00 to US$1.00
 
Electricity:
Barbados - Electricity in Barbados is: 110 volts/50 cycles. Standard plug types in Barbados are: (1) Flat blade (2 flat blades) and (2) Flat blades with round grounding pin.

Antigua - Part of the island is 110 volts, the remainder is 220 volts. Most hotels have both voltages available.

St Lucia - 220 volts, 50 cycles AC (a few hotels are 110 volts, 60 cycles). Most sockets take 3 pin square plugs (UK standard) but some take 2 pin round plugs or flat American plugs.

Jamaica - The electrical supply in Jamaica is 110 volts/50 cycles standard, and electrical appliances use plugs that are two-pronged and flat (such as those used in the United States and Canada).

Trinidad - The electrical supply in Trinidad is: 110/220V.
 
GMT:
Standard Time is Greenwich Mean Time minus four hours (GMT-4).

Jamaica falls within the Eastern Time Zone minus five hours (GMT -5) and does NOT observe Daylight Saving Time.
 
Passport/Visa Information:
The name on your passport must match your name on the ticket, otherwise you may not be able to travel and your insurance may be invalid. It is your responsibility to ensure the correct details are advised to us at the time of booking.

A standard ten-year British passport is required which must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of return travel.
 
Privacy & Data:
We want all our clients to enjoy completely successful holidays. However, any client with a medical condition or disability or dietary/religious requirements must be aware that information supplied to us will be passed to other companies and persons who supply the various parts of our travel arrangements. The suppliers may, depending upon your choice of holiday, be based outside the European Economic Area where controls on data protection may not be as stringent as in our country. We will not, however pass this information to any party that is not responsible for your travel arrangements.
 
Clients with Disabilities:
Please let us know at the time of booking if you or anyone in your party suffers from a serious medical condition or physical disability before a booking is made, as we cannot provide individual assistance with boarding coaches or forms of transport, baggage handling, walking or other personal requirements etc. Clients should be confident that they can do the tasks unaided. We are happy to give advice and assistance which will be dependent on the nature of the disability and whether the person with the disability is accompanied by an able bodied person. Some suppliers may request certification from your GP to confirm that you are fit to travel and we regret that we cannot be held liable for any costs you may incur as a result. Measurements of wheelchairs must be given at the time of booking.
