𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨, 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩 2023 - Day 3 Round Up
615 games already played across the Gold Coast. All disciplines have been narrowed down to the final competitors.
Women's Singles: The women's singles is the only discipline with two rounds of sectional play left. Kelly McKerihen (Canada), Tayla Bruce (New Zealand) and Katherine Rednall (England) are all confirmed to have topped their groups. Section 1 of play has two rounds of matches to play this morning at Broadbeach which is set to see Ellen Ryan (Australia) top the group and a battle for the second place quarter final spot.
Men's Pairs: D. Salmon and J. Breen (Wales), J. Banks, I. McLean (Scotland) and J Bezear , R Bester (Canada) were the only duo's to remain unbeaten across all sectional play games. A. Mckeown, G. Kelly (Ireland) topped the other section having only suffered one defeat. T. Cheung & L. Ka Ho (Hong Kong China) and E. Morris & S. Tolchard (England) just missed out on qualification from their respective sections having only lost one game each, but shot difference meant they couldn't climb into the top two. Men's Pairs Quarter Finals confirmed:

Women's Fours: K. Krstic, D. Hayman, L. Clarke & K. Cottrell (Australia) and L. Poulson, S. Goddard, V. Smith & K. Inch (New Zealand) were the only unbeaten teams during sectional play. India's Birmingham 2022 Gold medal winners failed to make it out of a tough section 1, finishing behind Australia and Canada with Ireland closely behind. In section 3 the New Zealanders topped the section while Wales and Malta were left fighting it out for second place during the last match of yesterday's play with all coming down to shot different the four from Wales qualified.
Women's Fours Quarter Finals confirmed:

England v Wales
New Zealand v South Africa
Men's Triples: P. Foster. MBE, D. Oliver & A. Marshall. MBE (Scotland) were the only unbeaten triple across the competition, Japan took second place in their section while the Welsh trio O. Dando, C. Kiefenz & R. Owen (Wales) just missed out on qualification. USA's B. Brault, A. Zangl & L. Dion topped their group with the Irish trio in second, leaving behind South Africa and New Zealand in third and fourth.
Men's Triples Quarter Finals confirmed:

Scotland v Thailand
Malaysia v Ireland
United States of America v Australia
Para VIP Mixed Pairs: M. Homer (P. Homer), H. Scholtz (G. Newcombe) from South Africa topped the group having only had one loss against Scotland along the way. The competition sees the top four progress into the semi final stage.

Men's Para Pairs:
D. Delgado & J. Reynolds (Australia) and D. Van De Vyer, G. Rees-Gibbs (South Africa) were unbeaten during sectional play and topped their respective sections. The Semi Finals will be played this afternoon at Broadbeach.

Women's Para Pairs:
J. O'Connell & T. Blackbourn (New Zealand) topped the group on shot difference with C. Lindfield & S. Bonnell (Australia) finishing second. The semi finals will be played today at Broadbeach.
